Andy Bezara is a professional photographer and expedition leader with over two decades of experience in Costa Rica’s tourism industry. He is a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Photographic Society of America (PSA), the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA), and the Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers (SINWP)—all organizations devoted to empowering photographers, promoting ethical practices, and fostering excellence behind the lens.
As the owner of Physis Photo Tours, Andy has spent years curating immersive travel experiences that highlight the incredible biodiversity of his homeland. Living in Heredia, Costa Rica, he is a passionate advocate for the country’s unique wildlife and ecosystems, combining his deep local knowledge with a commitment to conservation.
On this expedition, Andy will be your dedicated leader, overseeing every logistical detail so you can focus on capturing remarkable images—from dawn bird photography sessions to thrilling nighttime macro shoots.
