Costa Rica Photography Workshops

Get Out

& Get Ride

Looking for the ultimate Costa Rica photography workshops experience? At Physis Photo Tours, we design fully private, custom workshops for 1–8 travelers. Led by photographer and guide Andy Bezara, each program blends world-class destinations, expert instruction, and ethical wildlife practices so you can capture unforgettable images.

Why Costa Rica for Photography

Costa Rica is a biodiversity hotspot where multiple ecosystems lie within a few hours’ drive. From cloud forests to wetlands, it offers unmatched variety for photographers. Conservation practices ensure sustainable experiences, while year-round travel means there’s always something incredible to photograph.

Key Destinations

  • Boca Tapada / Maquenque – Lowland rainforest, toucans, aracaris, motmots, and tanagers.
  • Sarapiquí – Macro paradise with frogs, insects, and reptiles.
  • Monteverde – Cloud forests, hanging bridges, and atmospheric mist.
  • San Gerardo de Dota – Famous for resplendent quetzals and trogons.
  • Caño Negro – Wetlands perfect for boat-based bird photography.

Why Choose Physis Photo Tours

Unlike generic tours, Physis Photo Tours specializes in private, 100% photography-focused experiences. Our workshops are designed for your group only—no strangers, no fixed dates. We take care of all logistics: lodging, transport, entries, and field sessions aligned with light and animal behavior. Expect short, practical lessons in the field and daily image reviews back at the lodge. With Andy Bezara’s patient guidance, you’ll gain technical mastery and creative confidence while enjoying the journey.
